I was going to write about the ideal length of time in between giving a guy your phone number and expecting a phone call, but after about three paragraphs I decided to give up. I have come to the conclusion that there is no perfect length of time because every person and situation is different. This is the beauty (and frustration) of dating. What if there really was a cut and dry answer to every dating problem? Dating problems are big business. A obscene number of copies of books like "Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus", "The Rules", "He's Just Not That Into You", and "Be Honest: You Weren't That Into Him Either" have been sold because people crave answers to their dating questions. The fact is that if there really were answers to your dating questions and they actually worked, the world would be a very boring place because it would assume that everyone acts and reacts in the same manner. So you want to know how long to wait to call? Trust your gut because people want to date you, not some rulebook.
